The Singapore Reinsurers' Association (SRA) wrapped up its 13th Basic Reinsurance Concepts Course in April this year. Led by Shiva Iyer, the course refreshed core reinsurance knowledge for professionals and introduced non-technical participants to its vital role in risk management and business continuity.
The session highlighted how reinsurance supports financial stability and the importance of understanding its processes across different functions. By broadening awareness beyond technical teams, SRA aims to build a stronger, more connected insurance community.
