Mr Tay Boon Chuan

Boon currently heads the branch of Aspen Re in Singapore, working alongside a highly proficient and motivated team of underwriters and pricing actuaries, covering treaty business across all key lines in the Asia Pacific. Having spent over 25 years in the industry – including about a decade apiece in Swiss Re and Lloyd’s syndicate Tokio Marine Kiln, as well as a shorter stint with Asia Capital Re during its start-up phase – Boon remains an inveterate underwriter, mostly of the Property variety, but in his current role also includes classes such as Casualty, Marine, and Agriculture. Boon graduated with a business degree from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
